Refund & Returns Policy

We stand behind everything we ship from the ranch. This policy explains when and how you can return or exchange goods purchased from Lucky 13 Land McPherson Ranch LLC (“Lucky 13,” “we,” or “us”), and how refunds are handled. Because we sell a mix of fresh, perishable, and dry goods, a few different rules apply — please read the section that matches your order.
The short version
If something arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, we'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund — just tell us within 7 days of delivery. Unused, unopened merchandise can be returned within 30 days. Perishable food items are handled a little differently, as explained below.
Merchandise & gear
Apparel, hats, playing cards, journals, drinkware, and other non-perishable goods may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they are unworn, unwashed, unused, and in their original packaging with any tags attached. Items that show signs of use, or that were marked final sale, are not eligible for return.
Beef & perishable food
For food safety reasons, ranch beef, coffee, and other perishable or consumable items cannot be returned once delivered. If a perishable order arrives damaged, spoiled, or with a compromised cold chain, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and your order number and we will replace the order or issue a full refund.
Founders' pledges & memberships
Founding pledges, charter memberships, engraved bricks, and similar supporter contributions are commitments to the ranch, not retail merchandise, and are generally non-refundable. If you have a question about a pledge, please contact us directly and we'll work with you.
How to start a return
Email us at phil.roxworthy@gmail.com or call (619) 246-0754 with your order number and a short description of the issue. We'll confirm eligibility and, for approved returns, send instructions and a return address. Please do not ship anything back before you hear from us.
Return shipping
For items that are damaged, defective, or sent in error, we cover return shipping. For all other eligible returns, the cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend a trackable service, as we can't be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we'll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days, though your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
Exchanges
Want a different size, color, or item? Start a return for the original and place a new order for the replacement, or ask us to arrange an even exchange when stock allows. If a replacement costs more or less than the original, we'll settle the difference.
Order cancellations
If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible. We can usually accommodate changes before an order ships; once it's on its way, the standard return process applies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund & Returns Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that order.
